This 5-day intensive workshop will enable artists to experiment with projected imagery in the MAP mima Cube.
The Cube is a 360-degree projection canvas powered by Resolume with 8 fixed projectors and an additional projector that is currently mapped to the floor.
During the workshop artists will learn how to manipulate video through multiple programs (including After Effects, Blender and Resolume) and create works on the 360-degree canvas. Working together as well as on your own projects participants will explore a number of design and technical approaches.
Artists should have experience producing moving imagery and with digital image manipulation. This workshop will give artists the skills to develop an immersive artwork commission for MAP mima (see opportunity here)
