We are excited to announce that in 2025, Lake Mac Fest are joining forces with Lake Fest, showcasing a spectacular range of on and off shore water events and activities showcasing our beautiful lake through an action packed program!
The event program will run from 1 Jan 2025 until the end of April 2025 and offers an opportunity for community groups and businesses to partner with us in this wonderful event.
Groups participating in the Lake Mac Fest 2025 program will benefit from FREE advertising for their event via an extensive marketing program.
All event organisers who wish to participate are required to complete this expression of interest form, outlining the benefits and conditions of the collaboration.
Expressions of Interest are open now until 1 March 2025 and will be assessed as they are received. Applicants can expect to receive a response to their application within 14 days of receipt.
Selection process:
All applications will be reviewed by a panel of LMCC staff prior to being accepted as part of the Lake Mac Fest program of events.
To be considered for inclusion, events must align with the Lake Mac Fest objectives with a focus on the below criteria;
- Community based events and competitions that are inclusive for residents and / or visitors to Lake Mac City Council.
- Events that showcase the Lake and key locations within the Lake Mac City Council area
- Family friendly and sports based activities that encourage residents and visitors to enjoy Lake Macquarie’s natural and built assets.
