Expressions of interest – MAP mima Rocks

MAP mima is seeking expressions of interest from bands and musicians to perform at MAP mima Rocks, a live music event taking place on Saturday 26 September 2026 at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, mima (MAP mima) in Speers Point Park, Lake Macquarie.
Selection criteria
Selection of the band/musician will be assessed by the assessment panel based on:
- Artistic Quality and Originality (50% weighting)
- Live Performance Presence (30% weighting)
- Suitability for the Event (20% weighting)
How to submit
Bands/musicians must provide the following:

Artist or band name

Links to music (Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, or similar)

Links to live performance footage if available
- A short biography

A short description of your live performance

Technical requirements
The materials can be submitted by emailing attachments (audio MP3/MP4 files)

Applications will close midnight Friday 24 July 2026
Any application received after the closing date may be deemed non-compliant and disqualified from the assessment process.
Bands/musicians are responsible for ensuring that any documents or information sent electronically is in an acceptable format (such as PDF, Excel or Word).
